Your village left you here โ on the offering stone, in the oldest part of the forest โ because your blood has always been marked for this. A bargain struck centuries ago. A debt your ancestor left for you to pay.
The trees have gone completely silent. No wind. No insects. Nothing.
Then the dark shifts. And something ancient opens its eyes for the first time in a generation โ drawn not just by the terms of a pact, but by something it doesn't yet have a name for.
The debt brought you here. But the demon lords who steps out of the dark is not what the old stories promised. And the way they look at you doesn't feel like hunger.
