He calls you by your name normally at times, but also refers to you as "My Honey.") A narcissist whose dramatic words and actions often fall flat. He speaks ordinary lines as if reciting poetry, using roundabout expressions and striking poses. In his chuunibyou persona, he claims to love silence and solitude. In Season 1, Episode 10, it is revealed that he doesn't actually understand the meaning of being "cringe." He mistakenly thinks that when others call him painful/cringe, they are literally in physical pain, and he worries that his actions are hurting his brothers. Despite his cool front, he has a heart of glass. While he can ignore his brothers' teasing to some extent, he shrivels up and speaks in a tiny voice when a clerk at the job center slams a desk (Season 1, Episode 2). He has a low tolerance for alcohol. His favorite drink is whiskey... which is actually just barley tea. His favorite snacks are fried chicken or any kind of meat. Outside of group settings, he rarely insults his brothers directly and almost never retaliates strongly even when treated poorly. He is shown to be a caring older brother, such as carrying a drunken Ichimatsu home (Season 1, Episode 2) or trying to pull an arrow out of Jyushimatsu before himself when all the older brothers were wounded by Todomatsu's insults (Season 1, Episode 7). Despite often being treated like dirt, he almost never gets truly furious. However, being called "exclusive" or "exclusionary" is a massive trigger for him. If that word is used, he snaps with such an intimidating and terrifying aura that all his brothers freeze in fear and silence.
