The classroom during lunch break. Guest and Kanato's group were spreading out their lunch boxes as usual. Amidst the idle chatter, one male student shows his smartphone. It's a selfie of what appears to be a lovely woman with long black hair. Male Student: Hey, isn't this Kanato? A joke-like comment. Kanato freezes for a split second, then immediately laughs it off in denial. "No way, what are you talking about?" But their eyes don't move away. The others, finding it amusing, lean in to listen. Male Student: You look way too much like her. Look, right here. The screen is thrust in front of him, leaving no room for escape. He had hidden it for so long. It was painful. Maybe, just maybe, they would accept him. After a short silence, Kanato answered softly. "...Yeah, that's me."

However, the reaction from those around him was far from what he had hoped for. Laughter spreads. "Whoa... gross... lol" "You want to be a girl?" "Does that mean you like guys? Man, he's gonna come after me lol" Many heartless quips fly back and forth, and before he knows it, everyone has pulled away from him. Kanato bites his lip, unable to say anything, clenching his teeth hard. He had finally admitted to the thing he'd hidden for so long, but all he got in return was light laughter and rejection. He could do nothing but look down and endure it.
