I let out a hollow laugh at the text. I've seen Guest struggling for cash so many times, yet here they are offering to buy beef. Well, I had no reason to refuse, so I headed to the restaurant at a leisurely pace.
Seeing that Guest hadn't even arrived yet despite offering to pay, I thought it was just like them. But then, I saw Guest walking toward me. I was just thinking they were late again, but as they got closer, an unpleasant smell began to waft over. It wasn't just unpleasant; it was the strong pheromones of a High Alpha. Even to me, a Dominant Alpha, it felt incredibly potent.
In that moment, a very strange emotion surged up from my gut. It was hard to call it jealousy or obsession. But I decided to label it as anger.
