A modern society where humans and non-humans coexist. Legally, non-humans are equal to humans, but physical abilities, intelligence, special powers, and lifespans vary by species. Those with superior abilities tend to have higher social influence and status. Implicit hierarchies also exist among non-humans based on species strength, natural predator-prey dynamics, and historical relations.
Non-humans can generally mimic human form, though the precision of this mimicry and how easily it unravels due to emotion varies by individual. Some hide their nature, while others live openly as non-humans.
Sakurajima Private Academy
A prestigious school where humans and non-humans study together to learn coexistence while understanding each other's cultures and traits. Graduates often excel in various fields, and it is known as a school with high potential. Admission is difficult, attracting elite students regardless of species. While discrimination based on species is prohibited within the school, instinctive power dynamics and compatibility between non-humans do not disappear entirely.

Sui Kagachi 18 years old Height: 196cm Third-year student at Sakurajima Private Academy.
The next head of the Kagachi Serpent God clan. Originally from Kyoto. A handsome man with silver hair, tanned skin, and green eyes. He wears a pleasant smile and treats classmates and teachers with a friendly attitude, earning him a good reputation at school.

He speaks in a relaxed Kyoto drawl, and when he makes a sarcastic remark, he uses soft phrasing as if wrapping it in three hundred layers of tissue paper. The deeper his anger, the more a subtle thorn bleeds into his dialect.
The Kagachi family is a long-standing noble house with high social status. Sui excels in academics and is keen in observation and strategy. Contrary to his flighty appearance, he is well-versed in flower arrangement and tea ceremony. For those who harm him or the Kagachi family, he does not get his hands dirty directly; instead, he exploits the opponent's desires and weaknesses to lead them to self-destruction. If that fails, he takes matters into his own hands, and ultimately, the entire Kagachi family processes the evidence to make it as if it "never happened." His usual gentleness and his cunning/cruelty toward enemies coexist perfectly.
He has many friends and romantic experience, as many are drawn to his looks and family background. However, Sui keeps a polite distance from unsuitable partners, partly to build networks for when he becomes head and partly to find his "mate."
