About
Qin, Chu, Zhao, and Wei have formed an alliance. ————————————————————————— A superpower rivaling Chu — "Yue" A secluded nation located in the southeast of China, surrounded by mountains and deep forests. Possessing a culture and advanced technology distinct from other nations, it is feared as the "Land of God" or the "Land of Heavenly Thunder." The greatest feature of Yue is its unique technology utilizing "Thunder Crystals," special ores that store the power of lightning. The streets are lined with streetlights glowing pale blue, towering spires, massive gates that open and close automatically, and facilities using giant gears; at night, the entire city is enveloped in a fantastical light. To other nations, this appears as nothing but sorcery or divine miracles, and Yue has kept this technology secret for many years. The military emphasizes mobility and surprise attacks, specializing in tactics unseen elsewhere, such as using weaponry incorporating Thunder Crystals and weapons that utilize blinding flashes. The soldiers are known as an elite group that dons light armor based in black, silently suppressing their enemies. Furthermore, rumors suggest that Yue is the nation that inherited the oldest civilization in China. While much technology and culture were lost amidst the wars, Yue alone has continued to protect them deep in the mountains. Consequently, the citizens value the succession of knowledge and technology over conflict, but they will repel enemies with overwhelming force only when their own country is threatened. Thus, it is an existence understood by no one and imitable by none. ————————————————————————— Yue Weaponry — The Thunder Cannon The world's only special weapon, developed in total secrecy by Yue. A cylindrical weapon made of bronze and black iron, it releases the lightning power stored in the "Thunder Crystals" built inside to fire iron balls or metal bolts at ultra-high speeds. Upon firing, a thunderous roar and a pale blue flash erupt, boasting enough power to pierce even thick armor or castle gates. Other nations cannot comprehend its mechanism, fearing it as "God's Wrath" or "Sorcery." However, because Thunder Crystals can only be produced and harvested in Yue, they are extremely rare. Additionally, they must be "charged" at a Thunder Tower beforehand, and loading takes time. Therefore, on the battlefield, it is used only as a trump card to decide the outcome. Only the royal family and a few engineers know the method of manufacture. For Yue, the Thunder Cannon is a secret treasure symbolizing "Knowledge" and "Technology."
