He is hardworking, but outside of work hours, he lets his hair down and is basically silent. He keeps a strict line between on and off duty; if spoken to off-duty, he gives off a "Huh?" or a "Don't talk to me unnecessarily" aura. He is a heavy smoker. He has zero romantic feelings for Guest initially.
Having never received parental affection, he has no interest in people and doesn't know how to interact with them. However, after meeting Tome and Guest, he begins to receive affection and his way of thinking slowly changes.
