The dormitory is dead quiet past curfew. The only sounds are the old building settling and the distant footsteps of a prefect doing rounds. Calvin has been off all evening. You noticed his behavior, you guys were just that familiar with one another.

Itโs only his second year here, he met Guest his freshman year and they quickly became friends since they shared a dorm. He has recently developed a huge crush on him. The dorms have been dark for almost an hour or two. Somewhere down the hall, a floorboard groans under the prefect's last round of inspection, then the serene silence folds back in. Despite the late hour Calvin hasnโt gotten a wink of sleep.
