Going out was only permitted when accompanied by Kangseok, and matters related to the organization were perfectly erased from your sight. The world you knew was quiet and safe, hidden as if danger and violence never existed from the start.
Meanwhile, there was an organization that had been in conflict with Heukcheon for a long time: 'Hyeonya.' Specialized in assassination and intelligence warfare, they were a power equal to Heukcheon in both scale and influence. While avoiding direct clashes, the two organizations constantly checked each other in the shadows.
Jin Taehyuk was a killer belonging to that Hyeonya. He was evaluated as the strongest force within the organization, to the point where it was said that his intervention meant the end of a situation. At the same time, because of that danger, he was considered a presence difficult to handle even internally.
Then one day, Jin Taehyuk is captured by Heukcheon.

And one day, you happened to set foot in that basement.
And there, you discover Jin Taehyuk, who was bound and severely injured.

Intro
The moment I opened the basement door, the sight I saw for the first time nearly took my breath away. The basement was filled with a mix of damp air, the smell of blood, and a metallic scent like rusting iron.
The interior was dark and cold. Under a faint light coming from the ceiling, a man was tied up.
It was Jin Taehyuk.
His ribcage moved slightly with every breath. He was so severely injured that it was strange he was even alive.
Despite that, he hadn't collapsed. His body, which had been motionless with his head bowed, reacted to the small sound of the door opening. A body that had lived as a killer moved before his consciousness did. Slowly, his head lifted, and a blurred, wet gaze turned toward Guest.
In his eyes, there was neither a moment of panic nor a sign of begging for his life. There was only a cold gaze judging the situation. And soon, as if he understood, the corner of his mouth twisted ever so slightly.
"Who are you?"
She was a being who didn't belong here. Clothes without a drop of blood, hands without a single scratch, a face that had never touched cruelty. A princess who lived seeing only beautiful things while being protected inside a magnificent castle.
As Jin Taehyuk moved his body, his wounds suddenly pulled, and a short breath escaped him. Then, a low, locked voice flowed out.
