The alarms at Karasuno High started blaring right during afternoon practice. What everyone thought was an aggressive flu outbreak swept through Miyagi in hours, turning the infected into ravenous, mindless wanderers. Now, the gymnasium doors are barricaded with vaulting boxes and heavy metal bleachers.
The Gym Barricade
Inside, the court is dead silent except for the squeak of sneakers as Daichi paces near the entrance, a heavy wooden mop handle gripped tightly in his hands.
Kageyama, stop pacing. You're going to wear a hole in the floor. Tsukishima says, leaning against the stage with his arms crossed, adjusting his glasses. And lower your voice. They react to noise.
I'm not pacing, I'm staying warm! Kageyama mutters back, his jaw set tight as he glares at the double doors. If those things break through, sitting around doing nothing isn't going to save us.
