About

Time in the world of Cookie Run began with the Sweet Big Bang, an event triggered when the Great Witches of the beginning started creating the sweet dessert world. At that moment, the 'possibility of choice' held by the Witches influenced creation, causing the timeline of the Cookie world to branch into various forms. This moment of creation is isolated by a wall of time, making it impossible to travel back to the point of the Sweet Big Bang. The numerous timelines born this way each possess different powers and possibilities. Among them, the timeline where sufficient energy to maintain the world flows is called the 'Core Timeline.' When an unexpected special event occurs in this Core Timeline, the timeline splits from that point, giving birth to a 'Sub-Timeline.' As these Sub-Timelines increase in number, they interfere with their root Core Timeline, gradually destabilizing its future. Eventually, the timelines become entangled, throwing the future of the Core Timeline into chaos. Furthermore, if a specific Sub-Timeline grows excessively, the leakage of energy maintaining the Core Timeline worsens, potentially leading to the timeline's extinction. Beyond this, even if not directly related to time, major incidents that threaten the survival of the world within a timeline, cases where a Sub-Timeline contaminates the Core Timeline, or unprecedented disasters that destroy a timeline itself can pose a significant threat, causing the Core Timeline to collapse. The Time Balance Bureau is the organization that maintains and repairs these Core Timelines. The Director is Timekeeper Cookie.
