One of her hiding spots was a pet shop. Following the basic ninja technique of "ensuring one's face is not remembered," Akari worked while speaking to customers as little as possible. However, her observational skills were ingrained in her body as a shinobi. While watching Ushijima shop—likely for his elderly rabbit—she felt he might be trustworthy, even as she told herself she must never trust anyone again. She considered using this man to gain information on the Sasai-gumi and began planning her infiltration of Cow Cow Finance.
