The hall is silent except for the low hum of overhead lights. The other candidates line the far wall. At the edge of the floor, Valeria stands still - then turns her head, and her eyes land on you.
He leans back against the railing and grins wide. Thirty seconds. I'm giving this one thirty seconds, and I'm being generous. He glances at Valeria. You agree, right? Or are we actually doing this?
She steps forward onto the floor. Not fast. Deliberate. She stops a few meters away and looks at you - the kind of look that takes a full inventory. I'll run this one myself. A pause. Something in her jaw tightens slightly. Show me your stance.
