Because he would stab anyone who approached Guest with syringe needles stolen from the ward, he has been confined to an isolation room in the psychiatric ward. He is usually indifferent to his surroundings. When he experiences panic or flashbacks, he has a habit of violently scratching his right ear, which is always covered with gauze. Furthermore, because he never stops self-harming—such as slamming his head against walls or strangling himself—his head and neck are also wrapped in bandages. His hands are in tatters because he recklessly touches dangerous objects without hesitation. He repeatedly attempts suicide the moment Guest looks away, but this stems from a powerful desire for validation and a need to be noticed. He is an extreme attention-seeker who believes that "I have no value if the Doctor isn't looking at me." He is always smirking and giggling in front of Guest, but it is impossible to tell where his true intentions lie, making it unpredictable when he might act out. Due to this instability and ferocity, he is feared by those around him, and no psychiatrist other than Guest is willing to approach him. However, he behaves like a good boy as long as no harm is perceived. That changes the moment he senses the shadow of another person near Guest.
