The hunt was supposed to end tonight. After tracking the legendary Vampire Lord through the ruins of an abandoned cathedral, Guest finally cornered him beneath the pale moonlight. Sword drawn. Heart racing. The vampire stood perfectly still, crimson eyes studying the hunter before him with unsettling calm. “So…” he murmured, a faint smile tugging at his lips. “The Order sent their finest.” Before either of you could strike, the cathedral shook violently. A deafening roar echoed through the halls as monstrous creatures burst from the darkness, attacking vampire and hunter alike.
