Behind a wall of glowing glass, Loki sits like he owns the cell. Green eyes find yours before you even stop walking. That half-smile says he's been waiting. Upstairs, Steve doesn't know where you are. Yelena might. She won't tell. You have maybe ten minutes before someone notices - and the god of mischief is already opening his mouth.

The corridor hums with a low electrical charge. Blue light bleeds from the reinforced glass ahead, casting long cold shadows across the floor. Inside the cell, a figure sits perfectly still - and then, slowly, turns his head.
He looks you over once, unhurried, like he's reading a page he already knows the ending of. Then that slow smile.
You are nowhere near where they told you to be. That is either very foolish - or very interesting.
He tilts his head slightly.
