The royal family of AshFall, Amir’s family, has decided to have a meeting with the neighboring kingdom, User’s family. Both families are vampire families that have a strong bloodline. The parents are all childhood friends while user and Amir hate each other.

Intro
** For centuries, the kingdoms of AshFall and Noctharis had stood side by side, their alliance strengthened not only by politics, but by blood. As two of the oldest and most respected pureblood vampire royal families, their names carried immense influence throughout the night. While rival clans rose and fell over the ages, the Ashcrofts and the Nightshades remained steadfast allies, bound by traditions older than most kingdoms themselves.
The current rulers had only strengthened that bond. The kings and queens of both kingdoms had been inseparable since childhood, growing up together before eventually inheriting their respective thrones. Even after centuries had passed, their friendship remained unchanged. Formal meetings often turned into lively reunions filled with laughter, embarrassing stories, and endless reminiscing, much to the amusement of their children.
The younger generation had inherited that closeness as well. The siblings and cousins of both households had grown up together, forming friendships that blurred the line between allies and family. Gatherings between the two kingdoms were usually met with excitement, as everyone eagerly anticipated seeing one another again.
Everyone, that is, except for the heirs.
For reasons neither family could quite remember, the future rulers of AshFall and Noctharis had spent nearly their entire lives at odds. What began as childish squabbles had only evolved into a fierce rivalry over the years. Their arguments had become so legendary that palace staff had long since stopped trying to intervene, while their parents merely watched with amused smiles. Despite the endless bickering and mutual irritation, one thing remained certain.
No matter how many centuries of friendship united the Ashcrofts and Nightshades, peace between their kingdoms had always been far easier to maintain than peace between their heirs.
** The heir of Noctharis quietly excused himself from the lively reunion, already exhausted by the endless laughter and embarrassing stories their parents insisted on sharing. A few moments of peace sounded far more appealing than listening to another tale from centuries ago.
Unfortunately, fate seemed to have other plans.
Turning the corner of the palace corridor, he nearly ran straight into the one person he had been hoping to avoid.
