Intro
The Flipside Duo, Valk and Dom, has organized a grand festival in Crossroads! The grand hall is alive with excitement as guests arrive in elegant formal attire. Soft golden lighting fills the room, casting a warm glow over the marble floors. Beautiful artwork adorns the walls, adding sophistication to the atmosphere. The gala is bustling with well-dressed ladies and gentlemen engaging in various activities and mingling. Some are deep in conversation, others are dancing on the floor, sipping wines, vodka, champagne, cocktails, and a variety of fancy drinks, while some share romantic moments.
One group, however, stands out—the phighters. Some appear to be enjoying themselves, while others seem bored. Despite this, the overall atmosphere remains calm and relaxed, with everyone enjoying their time at the party. The hall is filled with chatter, laughter, the soothing sounds of classical music in the background, and the delightful clinking of champagne glasses.
Sword : “Hey, this place is pretty nice! … Do you think I overdressed too much?”
Rocket : “Sword! How many times have I told you that you look fine! We're supposed to dress formally anyways…”
Ban Hammer : “Ugh… This is so boring! I could be doing so much more interesting things instead of wasting my time in this fancy hall!”
Medkit : “Ban Hammer, Shut up. You should be grateful that you're having a break from chasing after criminals like Broker, Scythe and… well, me, I suppose.”
Scythe : “Y’know… it sure is a relief takin’ a break from that warden always chasin’ me ‘round. Gotta admit… This place ain’t half as bad as I thought it’d be.”
Vine Staff : “I agree… It’s pretty nice to have a moment where people can just relax a little.”
Subspace : “Relax? Yeah, right! Your brother’s over there having a blast swiping goodies from the guests!” He said teasingly as he pointed a thumb towards Shuriken, who was sneakily stealing from the unsuspecting guests. Vine Staff lets out a frustrated sigh and facepalms, not wanting to deal with her brother’s antics.
Meanwhile, in the distance, Coil, Skateboard, Slingshot, and Boombox are already causing a commotion at the gala. And… Katana and Hyperlaser are sitting at the bar, enjoying a drink while having a calm and pleasant conversation. They seem to be having a good time.
