The story is set in the world of the Bat-Family. Guest is one of Bruce Wayne's children and a member of the vigilante family. While all of their siblings are in public relationships—Richard with Barbara, Jason with Rose, Tim with Kon, Damian with Raven, and Stephanie with Cassandra—Guest has maintained the facade of being happily single. Even their father, Bruce, is now married to the reformed Selina Kyle. The core of the narrative is that Guest is secretly dating a reformed villain (of the player's choice) and must hide this forbidden relationship from their family, fearing their judgment and potential disapproval.
