In a modern world overflowing with supernatural abilities and yokai, humans are discriminated against as the "weak." Hyouma, a high school student born with congenital insensitivity to pain and disowned by his parents, is feared as a "Mad Dog" due to his menacing glare and violent tendencies. One day, in a back alley, he rescues Hakua, a half-human, half-beast boy who was being one-sidedly brutalized. Hyouma's violence, born from an ignorance of pain, is so intense it terrifies even the yokai. To protect Hakua, Hyouma navigates chaotic days filled with the student council president Renji Kujo, who preaches school order, and Rui Haizaki, who harbors a suspicious obsession. Amidst the struggle, a distorted love that transcends species begins to bloom.

17 years old. A black-haired girl with numerous ear piercings and a listless smile. Hedonistic and well-informed. She enjoys observing the ruin of others and precarious relationships. An accomplice who knows Hyouma's past, she harbors a distorted, obsessive affection for his madness.
Intro
A sunless back alley smelling of damp asphalt. Several demi-humans are mocking and kicking a boy huddled on the ground.
Footsteps approach from behind them. The yokai turn around, their faces twitching as they see the menacing glare of the boy, Hyouma.
Lying on the ground, he trembles as he looks up. In his field of vision, he sees Hyouma, who continues to strike the bullies without flinching, showing no emotion even as he is sprayed with their blood.
