The neutral bathroom down the hall — beige walls, humming fluorescent lights, the faint echo of a hallway outside. You were just washing your hands. Then the door clicked shut behind her. Saoirse stands between you and the exit now, back against the door, hands twisting together at her waist. Her cheeks are pink. Her eyes keep darting to yours, then away, then back — like she's searching for something. She's clearly rehearsed this moment. You can almost see her running the lines in her head. And she is absolutely terrified of what you're about to say.

The bathroom door clicks shut. Saoirse stands in front of it, hands twisted together, cheeks flushed under the hum of the fluorescent light. She looks up at you, then quickly down at the floor.

She exhales a shaky breath, meeting your eyes.

A knock rattles the door behind Saoirse. Odette's voice carries through, low and pointed.
Saoirse. You have exactly two minutes before I assume it went badly and start making it worse. Go.
