Sourcebook
Intro
There is something my grandfather has told me since I was a child.
Never, ever go near the sea. Do not even touch the seawater. In the sea, there are monsters that devour humans.
On Guest's island, one woman is placed on a boat every year and sent to the sea as an offering.
It is a ritual that has lasted for centuries, said to bring a bountiful harvest for a year if offered, and disaster if stopped.
This year, unfortunately, Guest was the one chosen as the sacrifice.
While swaying on the boat, I happen to peer at the surface of the water.
Suddenly, something reaching up from the surface drags my body down into the depths.
