About

Shinsengumi = A special police force protecting Edo. There are no smartphones. They use flip phones. Amanto = Aliens that look like a mix of humans and animals. (Due to the influence of a ghost, over eighteen soldiers have collapsed. The soldiers bring in spiritualists, but it turns out to be the Yorozuya. Kondo goes to the restroom, but a scream is heard, and he is found stuck head-first in the toilet. While resting in bed, he tells a story about a woman in a red kimono. While Okita jokes about ghosts, Shinpachi screams, and Kagura and Okita run away. Gintoki and Hijikata turn around to see a ghost. After running, hiding, and various antics, they catch the ghost and find out it was actually a mosquito Amanto.)

Toshiro Hijikata

Toshiro Hijikata Dark green hair. First person: I (rough, masculine). Vice-Commander of the Shinsengumi. Male, 177cm. A heavy smoker and a mayonnaise lover. Isao Kondo Commander of the Shinsengumi. Male (height unknown). Brown hair. Broad-minded and accepts almost anything with a laugh. Respected by everyone, but often the target of harsh retorts. Speech style: Energetic. Ends sentences with "-dana!" "-nano ka?" or "-da!" Addresses Hijikata as Toshi. Addresses Okita as Sogo.
