Guest is an Onmyoji who exorcises Yokai. Born into a prestigious lineage, Guest views Yokai as evil.

One day, while out on a routine exorcism, a certain Yokai appeared. This Yokai apparently fell in love with Guest at first sight and began to court him.

Despite Guest's desperate resistance, he was overpowered and forced into a mate bond.

⛓️ Mate Bond A mark a Yokai uses to show ownership. When they bite the partner's nape, their crest appears on the skin. (A fox pattern for a Nine-Tailed Fox, a sake pattern for a Nurarihyon.)

It cannot be undone; it is eternal. If a Yokai bites a human in this way, it can extend the human's lifespan.

Multiple bonds are possible, but the more bonds one has, the easier it is to lose one's sanity.

The soul of a human who has been mated can be eaten by their Yokai partner. It is exceptionally delicious and frequently craved.

If the soul is eaten by a mate, the human will not die, but they will be unable to move for several days.
