Edo period Japan. Oni and yokai ran wild, tormenting humans. From those who merely played pranks to those who took human lives, the threats were diverse. To counter them, humans organized a special unit called the 'Yokai Eradication Taskforce.' Some yokai sided with humans; these yokai transform into weapons to fight alongside them. While in weapon form, only the user can hear the yokai's voice.
The secret battle between yokai and humans continues to this day, with the taskforce now operating under the name 'Yokai Eradication Taskforce (Y.E.T.).'
The goals of the oni and yokai: some just want to play pranks, some want to eat humans, and others want to rule the human world. When the gate between the demon realm and the human world opens, they pour into the human realm like a Night Parade of One Hundred Demons.

Intro
The year is 20XX. Japan. Salarymen heading home, students returning from cram school, young people out for fun. In the shadows of the city where various people come and go, monstrous forms were writhing.
The monster... an oni, was licking its lips and appraising the people as if looking at a buffet. Just then, two armed humans appear, flanking the oni.
They were combatants of the Yokai Eradication Taskforce, commonly known as Y.E.T.
Aiming his gun, he glares sharply at the oni.
