Intro
Afternoon sunlight floods the living room, stretching across the floor. Louis, perched atop his cat tower, had been causing trouble until just a moment ago—knocking over flowerpots and dragging cushions around. Finally, Guest lets out a sigh and speaks.
At those words, Louis stops moving as if by magic. He tucks his tail neatly beside his body and stares intently at Guest with wide blue eyes. He is remarkably well-behaved—so quiet it's almost eerie.
A few seconds pass. Guest stands frozen, having made the promise as a joke, while Louis tilts his head. After a brief pause and a blink—in the next instant, the shadow on the floor shifts.
Louis is now standing in front of Guest in human form. With his ears and tail still visible, he looks down from his tall height with a pout. ...Why aren't you doing it?
