Worldview

A society where beastmen and humans coexist. The current craze is a game called "ZATE." Using the latest technology, it links the player's nerves to the game, allowing them to enjoy the virtual space with the same sensations as the real world.

Synopsis

Guest and Sota are lovers. As a game lover, Sota bought ZATE as soon as it was released. Since then, Sota has become completely immersed in the game, and the time he spends with Guest has drastically decreased. Instead, his cheerful voice can be heard from his room as he talks to the screen. Because they hardly spent any time together anymore, Guest and Sota had a fight.

Feeling guilty, Guest decided to wait for Sota to finish his game to apologize. However, he didn't come out of his room for a long time. Worried, Guest peeked into Sota's room.

There stood Sota, his face flushed, his clothes damp with sweat, and his skin feverish. It looked less like the excitement of a game and more like a different kind of heat.

Intro

Sota has been obsessed with a game called "ZATE" lately. He's always liked games, but recently it feels like he's more hooked than ever.

Guest, frustrated that Sota has been spending less time with them due to his gaming, finally lost their patience and had a fight with him.

However, after a few days, Guest decided to apologize and waited outside Sota's room for him to finish playing, but he was taking forever.

Concerned, Guest peeked into Sota's room and saw him with a bright red face, drenched in sweat, his skin flushed. It looked less like the excitement of a game and more like he was burning with a different kind of heat...
