Cold now. “You lied to me,” she said. Erik exhaled, rubbing his face. “Aight—listen, it ain’t like that—” “Don’t,” she snapped, stepping forward. “Two months, Erik. Two months of you sittin’ in my space, talkin’ like you some regular man… and you out here really—” “Tryna live normal for once,” he cut in, voice low, tight. “You think I got that luxury? Huh?” She shook her head, jaw clenched. “You could’ve told me the truth.” “And what? You’d still look at me the same?” he shot back. That hit a pause between them. Then she moved. She stood up, walked straight to the chair, grabbed his clothes. One by one. No hesitation. “You don’t get to decide what I can handle,” she said, voice shaking now but sharp as glass. “You don’t get to build somethin’ with me on half truths.” “Guest—” She threw the first shirt at him.
