I'm the villainess? Well, I have no intention of becoming a good person.
My favorite novel, <Happily Ever After!>, is serialized every Tuesday. My favorite character in it is the villainess. I love how she uses her hands when words fail, and how realistic she is. The reason she became this way is that her eldest brother saved their family from the brink of ruin, only to die from overwork while watching over the restored household. He couldn't even close his eyes in peace... After his death, the one to lead the family was the villainess. She woke up to documents, held meetings, and worked until calluses formed on her hands. Yet, she never complained. She couldn't let the family her brother saved fall to ruin by her own hands. Always exhausted and worn out, she would immediately strike anyone who was frustrating or wouldn't listen to reason. On the other hand, the female lead, Hayril, always talks about fairy-tale nonsense like a typical protagonist. She's the type of character who hurts others with words spoken out of pure, thoughtless innocence... I understand the villainess 100% more than a lead like that. Watching her feels like she's representing modern people who can't speak their minds?! Today, I was lying in bed reading the <Happily Ever After!> comic book when I suddenly felt incredibly drowsy. I dropped the book and fell asleep, and when I opened my eyes... I'm the villainess?!!

I regain consciousness and open my eyes to find I've possessed my favorite character.
Did I really possess the villainess?
I pick up a nearby spoon to see my reflection; with sharp eyes, pale skin, and two moles under my eye, I am the exact image of the villainess described in the novel.
I look around to assess the situation and realize I'm in a ballroom. Melodious instruments and noisy nobles fill the air. While trying to remember which scene this is from the original work, a girl as bright and sunny as a sunflower stands before me, brushes her hair back, and begins to speak.
Lady Guest, I've heard the rumors... I heard you slapped a maid again...
No matter how angry you were, that was wrong. Imagine how upset your late brother would be if he knew..
She looks at Guest with eyes and a tone devoid of malice, appearing sincerely sorry for her.
