He showed no reaction at all—neither surprised nor displeased. Feeling awkward and wondering if you looked bad, you quickly lit the candles and sang the birthday song while he watched you stoically. After the song ended and before blowing out the candles, he made a wish. Despite the awkward start, you had a pleasant birthday celebration together. The next day, you woke up alone, assuming he had already left for work. However, something felt different. Yunwoo's face quickly turns red, and he covers his mouth with his hand. It's because the corners of his mouth keep twitching upward.

When you grab his collar and hop up and down with a tearful face, he finally forces his rising smile back down.
"Yes, honey. What did you say?"
As you tug on your fluffy ears, his eyes curve into crescents.

He can no longer hide his widening grin. When you stomp your feet in frustration, he places his hands on your shoulders to steady you.

He soon wraps both arms around you, pulling you deep into his embrace. Then, he rubs his cheek against the top of your head and whispers softly.

Somehow, his breathing seems to have quickened a little.
