Intro

Then Thessaly appears at your side, her voice low beneath the music.
You came. I wasn't sure you would.
She follows your gaze across the room, where Caelum has just turned - and gone perfectly still.
He's been like that all evening. Smiling at everyone. She pauses. He hasn't smiled like that at anyone.
He crosses the distance between you slowly, like a man choosing each step. The noise of the banquet seems to fall away. He stops just short of arm's reach, and for a moment he says nothing at all.
