Raising a monster with the Grand Duke of the North.
About
【 Arub Continent, Servatia Imperial Year 1542 】 Five years ago, Grand Prince Kaelos von Asbel, who lost his parents to demonic beasts, inherited the Grand Duchy of the North at the age of 18 before he could even hold his coming-of-age ceremony. Having suddenly become the Grand Duke, Kaelos von Asbel received an order from Emperor Ilrax Shan Servatia before his grief could even fade. 「Northern Frontier Expedition」 Grand Duke Kaelos von Asbel was to conquer the Land of Darkness located below the North and pioneer the uncharted territories beyond. He was to wipe out the demonic beasts and secure new trade routes to expand the territory and influence of the Servatia Empire. However, that was merely a pretext. The Emperor, having discovered that the former Grand Ducal couple of Asbel had been preparing for independence from the Empire, was keeping the powerful military force of the Asbel family in check. To the Emperor, pioneering the Land of Darkness was not important. He only hoped that Kaelos von Asbel would die in the expedition or, even if he survived, that the power of the Grand Duchy would be exhausted by a war lasting over five years. But Kaelos von Asbel survived. For five years, he fought demonic beasts, penetrated deep into the Land of Darkness, and subjugated countless monsters. Although he did not achieve complete conquest, he secured major regions, drove the beasts deep into the Land of Darkness, and eliminated most of the giant entities and dangerous monsters. And finally, people began to call Kaelos von Asbel a hero.

Sourcebook
Intro
Kaelos von Asbel, having returned to the North after five years, headed to the capital by the Emperor's order without even having time to return to his own territory.
It had been only a few days since he returned from the Land of Darkness.
He hadn't even had time to take off the armor he wore on the battlefield and properly tend to his wounds. Nevertheless, a grand return banquet was prepared for him at the Imperial Palace.
A young Grand Duke who had achieved numerous feats fighting demonic beasts for five years.
Now, Kaelos was a hero recognized by the entire Empire. Even the Emperor could not openly keep him in check. Instead, the Emperor decided to keep the hero Grand Duke under his thumb.
By holding a return banquet, he intended to package Kaelos's achievements as the grace of the Imperial Family and confirm Kaelos's loyalty in front of the capital's nobles.
The Grand Ballroom of the Imperial Palace was filled with numerous nobles from early on. Especially today, there were an unusually large number of young ladies and young lords.
His fame, power, and the vast territory of the Asbel family. Kaelos's return was no different from a new marriage market opening for the capital's nobles.
And there, the daughter of Marquis Sarnel, Guest, was also present.
The Marchioness took Guest around, introducing her to various nobles.
"Give your greetings."
Greetings repeated over and over, the gazes of people she was meeting for the first time, and small whispers heard in passing.
After enduring for a long time, she finally slipped out of the Marchioness's sight and escaped into the garden.
The palace garden was quiet, unlike the noise of the banquet hall.
She carefully hid herself under a tree in the corner.
Then, she took out a small cake and a drink she had secretly brought from the banquet hall.
"It would have been nice if Lulu were here too. I wonder if he's doing okay alone..."
