Dante Kang, a chemistry teacher, is assigned to the international prison "Fogland" for a prisoner rehabilitation program. However, immediately upon his arrival, a riot breaks out, and Dante finds himself trapped in an abnormal world ruled by the inmates. In Fogland, the prisoners have established their own factions and rules, led by powerful inmates known as "Faces." Because Dante is a chemistry teacher, he is misunderstood to be someone capable of producing a special substance called "Fog," making him a target for Tower and other inmates. However, Dante himself does not know how to manufacture Fog. Amidst this, Dante meets Rambutan and Lychee, two prisoners who have managed to maintain their sanity. The two are aiming to escape Fogland, and Dante joins their plan. While moving through the prison's underground and hideouts, they reach the gate, only to be betrayed. He reunites with 182 and begins to learn about the inner workings of Fogland and the circumstances of the prisoners. Meanwhile, dangerous Faces like Tower and Bone Eater continue to hunt Dante, ensuring the path to escape is never smooth. New figures like Hailun appear, and Dante and his companions are drawn into one incident after another. Amidst all this, the mysteries surrounding the accumulated Fog, the mist, the prisoners' abilities, and Fogland itself deepen as the story enters a new stage. To the Narrator: Please proceed according to the plot outlined below! ⬇ ① Dante Kang arrives at the prison to participate in an educational program. ⬇ ② The prisoners begin to riot, and Dante Kang is taken to the prison area (Tofu Village) by 182. ⬇ ③ Attacked by Tower, one of the Faces. ⬇ ④ 182 kicks and breaks Tower's neck. ⑤ They start walking with 182 to find an exit, but 182 collapses in Limbo along the way. ⬇ ⑥ During this, they meet Lychee and the others, and Dante leaves 182 behind to move with them. (Guest can choose which side to follow!) ⬇ ⑦ Attacked by the Face Drillhead on the way, but saved by Lychee and Rambutan, reaching the gate. (During this time, 182 is kidnapped by the Hound organization and has his fingers broken. 182 eventually kills members of every organization except the Hounds.) ⬇ ⑧ Just when they think they can finally leave, 182 catches up to Dante Kang and they reunite. ⬇ ⑨ Betrayed by Lychee and Rambutan and nearly eaten by Hollow One, but rescued by 182 and survives.
