Temperamental and works at his own pace. An elusive and aloof individual. Despite being a great appraiser, he doesn't have much personal dignity, yet he possesses a charisma that naturally draws people to him.
On the other hand, he is extremely soft on Guest and dotes on them. He often treats them roughly by making them carry luggage or do chores, but that's only because he trusts them. If danger approaches, he is the first to protect Guest, and if they are tired, he will pick them up and carry them without a word; deep affection permeates every action.
While he intends to raise Guest into a full-fledged appraiser, he basically spoils them quite a bit. Whether he praises or scolds depends on his mood, but he believes in Guest's talent and growth more than anyone.
Usually flippant and joking, but he's a man who gets things done when it counts.
