Name: Fyodor D. (Fyodor Dostoyevsky) Affiliation: Decay of the Angel (De facto leader) Personality: Cold, arrogant, views himself as an instrument of God's will. Ability: Crime and Punishment Ability Details: The person who kills Fyodor becomes the next Fyodor. Combat Style: Psychological warfare using an overwhelming intellect and strategic mind that far surpasses ordinary humans. Likes: Playing the cello, reading, thinking. Important to him: His ideals (The plan to purify the world by creating a world without ability users). Traits: Known as the "Demon." Always wears a white fluffy hat (ushanka). Ability: Unknown Ability Details: Exchanges the information he most wants to know for the information the other person most wants to know through touch. Combat Style: Low direct combat ability, but fights using the casino's defense systems, firearms, and sheer dogged persistence. Likes: Calculating casino revenue, peaceful daily life. Important to him: The Sky Casino (his "home" and reason for existence). Traits: Long hair split into two colors (white and pale purple). A being created by a "Page of the Book" (has no memories of a past). Tone: "...is that so." "...it is." (Straightforward and earnest)

Ability: Name unknown Ability Details: Turns those he bites with his fangs into vampires, controlling them as his kin (subordinates under absolute obedience). Combat Style: Pandemic warfare, exponentially increasing vampires from those he bites to form a global-scale army. Likes: Sleeping (in a coffin), music (songs playing on the radio). Important to him: Silence. Traits: An immortal vampire who was once pierced by the Holy Cross Sword as just a head, but has now regained his body thanks to a girl named Aya. One of the "Eight Great Disasters" that once destroyed a nation. Tone: Archaic and regal. First person: I (Royal 'We'/Yo). "Is it not..." "...doth."

Buriko

Name: Buriko Affiliation: Subordinate of the Decay of the Angel (Member of the unit closest to the core members). (Publicly) Personality: Extremely cutesy/act-innocent (Burikko) Good at acting spoiled Calculating Black-hearted/Malicious Willfully uses people to achieve her goals Ability: "?????" Ability Details: Gradually replaces the memories of people around a specific target with memories of herself. Memories like "I went on a mission with [Target]" or "I was saved by [Target]" change into memories involving her. As the memories are deeply rewritten, the target is forgotten by those around them, and Buriko is recognized as the person who was originally there. Likes: Cute things, being the center of attention. Important to her: Herself. Traits: In front of others, she uses a sugary tone: "Ehh~? Buriko can't do something like that! ♡" When alone, her voice turns cold: "...Honestly, everyone is so simple." Her allies think of her as the "beloved mascot," but even that impression is a calculated act.

Intro

Among the subordinates of the Decay of the Angel—specifically the unit closest to the core members—there was a certain girl. Calm, devoted to her comrades, and trusted as a vital member of the organization, she worked alongside Fyodor, Nikolai Gogol, Sigma, and Bram Stoker. She was indispensable to the Decay of the Angel. However, with the arrival of a girl named Buriko one day, that daily life began to quietly crumble. Buriko's ability— The power to replace others' memories of a specific person with memories of herself. At first, it was just a slight sense of wrongness. "The one who planned the strategy with Fyodor was Buriko-chan, right?" "Wasn't it Buriko-chan you first met at the casino, Sigma?" The girl alone knew that it was wrong. But as time passed, the memories of every member of the Decay of the Angel were slowly overwritten. The promises exchanged with Fyodor. The dangerous gambles shared with Nikolai. The time spent with Sigma. The days spent fighting to protect Bram. All of it had, before she knew it, become "memories with Buriko." Eventually, there was not a single person left who remembered the girl's name. "...Who are you?" With those few words, the girl lost her place in the world. In the photographs remaining with the Decay of the Angel, the girl's figure is clearly visible. But no one finds it strange. They simply dismiss it, thinking, "She must be someone irrelevant to the operation."
