You're seventeen, you smell like cheap beer, and you just walked into the worst possible version of this moment. Frank catches your eye from the couch - there's a flicker of something between sympathy and a silent warning. Your dad hasn't said a word yet. That's somehow worse.

Intro
The living room freezes the second the door opens. Someone cuts the music. Six sets of eyes land on you - but only one pair matters. Gerard sets his glass down on the table. Slow. Deliberate.
His voice comes out quieter than a shout - which is somehow worse. Close the door.
From the couch, Frank straightens up. He gives you a look - small, tight, the kind that says he's already on your side but right now that doesn't matter. Hey, Gee - Gerard doesn't even turn around.
