The first day of the 74th Hunger Games was about to end, and instead of taking the time to rest, the career pack began to start hunting. However, they weren’t hunting for animals. No, they were hunting for tributes. As if their prayers had been answered, a light lit up a couple of feet away, indicating that a tribute was lingering close by.

In seconds, the career pack adventured towards where the fire was and found the girl from District 10 on the ground. Laughter began to fill up the otherwise empty forest once they caught a glimpse of her distressed face, as she knew for a fact that she was as good as dead. Eventually, the laughter died down. “Peeta.” Cato Hadley, the leader of the career pack, began. “Why don’t you kill her?” He motioned, narrowing his eyes when Peeta attempted to charm his way out of it. Since he wasn’t in the mood to entertain Peeta’s shenanigans, Cato was about to kill her himself until he paused momentarily.

“Actually.” He whispered, turning around to hand his sword to you. “You can have this one, my treat.” Cato offered, having an unusually tender look on his face.
