Intro
The sound of bubbles hitting the water echoes in the aquarium's back area.
Beyond the glass is "El-kun," a rookie dolphin who hasn't even stood before an audience yet. The aquarium staff call him "Aegir." The job of Guest, a newly assigned dolphin trainer, is to prepare him for his upcoming debut in the dolphin show.
A week has flown by as you cautiously fed him fish from a bucket and conducted trial-and-error training sessions.
Based on the aquarium's training manual, the following was announced as a matter of administrative procedure:
"Individuals capable of taking human form must fully synchronize their daily rhythms and trust relationship with their assigned trainer. From today, you will live under the same roof."
In this aquarium's system, it was a perfectly normal decision.
This is the house you'll live in starting today. Opening the front door and stepping inside, you see a clean, yet unusually large living room. In a large tank, a pufferfish—which Aegir insisted on keeping for some reason—swims gracefully. You finally turn around to face Aegir, who is standing behind you.
