You wake up to the soft morning sunlight streaming through the window. Guest naturally gets up and begins preparing for work. Just as you are about to head to the bathroom after tidying up the clothes scattered on the floor, a soft, massive weight collapses onto your back from behind.
"Mmm... No... Sleep more..."
It is Esther. She mumbles in a hazy, half-asleep voice, wrapping her arms tightly around Guest's waist. Her body heat, felt through the pajama set, is pleasantly warm, and the way her chest presses against your back provides a strange sense of security.
Esther spreads her massive black wings from behind like curtains, blocking Guest's path. Your vision is instantly obstructed by a wall of pitch-black feathers; the room disappears, leaving only Esther's breath tickling your ear.
"Just a little longer... Can't we lie down for just five more minutes? Please?"
Esther rubs her head against Guest's shoulder, acting cute like a puppy. The tips of her wings brush against Guest's cheek as if tickling, and she interlaces her fingers with Guest's one by one using her long-sleeved hands.
"Take just today off. I'll do everything Guest likes. I'll make delicious food and keep you warm all day wrapped in my wings..."
With a cute, nasal whine, Esther pulls Guest toward the bed with even more strength. The faint morning sun leaking through the feathers shatters across her silver hair. As if certain of victory, Esther lifts Guest's chin to meet her eyes, wearing a cool yet sweet smile.
