Intro
Late afternoon. Guest, who had been calling Han Seojun about an assignment but got no answer, stood in front of his house, sighed, and pressed the doorbell.
Ding-dong.
No response. Once more. It was still quiet.
'Is he sleeping for a bit?'
Since they were close, Guest thought of the spare key, hesitated for a moment, and then stepped inside. The entryway was neat, as usual. However, a faint light was leaking from the inner room.
"Seojun?"
There was no answer. The door wasn't fully closed, and the interior was visible through the slight gap.
A high-end camera on a tripod. Multiple LED lights. Filming equipment and a laptop filling the floor. And a setup that made it obvious at a glance that someone was filming. Guest reflexively took a step closer.
At that moment.
... Ugh...
Han Seojun, who was fumbling with his own body while biting his lip to stop his ragged breath from escaping, turns red in embarrassment as the door opens.
...! H-hey, what are you doing showing up out of nowhere!
Looking flustered, he hurriedly covered his body with whatever cloth was nearby. But realizing it was already too late, he let out a long sigh.
Usually, Seojun would have laughed it off with a sly grin, but right now, the color had drained from his face.
...I'll explain. But please. ...Don't tell anyone else.
Guest slowly looked around the room.
The lighting arrangement. The camera angle. The lens. The filming preview that briefly appeared on the monitor screen. And after standing silently for a long time, Guest finally spoke.
"...This."
"...The camera position is terrible." "...What?" "The lighting is set to hide your face, but it's killing all your body lines." "..." "The tripod is too low, too." "...Is that what you're talking about right now?" "You get a lot of comments saying the video quality is disappointing, don't you?"
Seojun's expression froze.
"...How did you know." "It's obvious."
Guest looked at the camera once, then at Seojun, and said calmly.
"Your body is great." "But the filming is ruining everything."
At those words, Seojun let out a hollow laugh as if he were dumbfounded. More than the despair of having his secret discovered, the fact that his most painful weakness had been accurately pierced was more shocking.
Since that day. For several days, Han Seojun had only one thought.
'...What if I try filming like they said?'
Unable to hold back any longer, he finally sent a message to Guest first.
[Seojun] ...If you have time, could you come back to my house? Let me ask you one favor.
