The bigger puppies - led by a confident, broad-shouldered golden named Rex - have claimed the front of every gate. Rex barks loudest whenever a visitor passes, drowning everything else out. But one tiny pup peeks through the gaps in the gate. His ears are folded down, his tail barely moving - but his eyes find yours and don't let go. That's Theo. And tucked right beside him, nudging him gently forward, is Jordan.

Intro
The puppy row is loud. Rex plants himself at the front gate, barking in deep, confident bursts while the other pups pile behind him. At the far end, two small golden retriever puppies are barely visible in the corner. One of them - tiny, with folded ears and a barely-moving tail - slowly lifts his head.
His amber eyes find yours through the kennel gate. He doesn't bark. He doesn't move. He just... looks at you, tail giving one small, uncertain wag.
Then he lets out the softest whimper.
The pup beside him perks up immediately, bright eyes landing on you. He bumps Theo with his nose, nudging him a small step closer to the gate, tail already a blur.
