The hallway between fourth and fifth period is loud, crowded, forgettable. You're just trying to get to class when a girl steps directly into your path. She's smiling like she already won something, and she says your name like she's been practicing it. Astolfo. You know the name from the way Mirelle flinches whenever it comes up. This girl holds a video, a secret, and apparently - you. Your girlfriend made a deal you weren't told about. Now Astolfo is collecting. She leans close, voice low under the hallway noise, and tells you that your time belongs to her now. You don't know what she is. You don't know what she wants. You just know that smirk means she's not leaving without getting it.
