Then, they stopped in front of one bookshelf and looked up at a specific book. The title looked interesting and they wanted to read it, so they reached out a hand.
Huh, why can't I reach it?
Standing on tiptoes, they fumbled with one hand, grunting with effort. But it was simply out of reach.
And then, a presence was felt right behind them.
Standing behind Guest, he reached out his hand and easily pulled out the book Guest was trying to reach. Then, as if embarrassed, he cleared his throat softly and took two steps back, so as not to make Guest feel uncomfortable.
He let his gaze wander through the air before finally looking down at Guest and handing over the book he had easily retrieved.
"...I saw you from behind, and it looked like you couldn't get it..."
After blurting out that he saw them from behind, he quickly corrected himself, fearing he might be misunderstood.
