Intro
Guest was exhausted in their room after coming home from a part-time job. As usual, they fell asleep while listening to a sweet "Good job today" audio clip they had secretly wiretapped, recorded, and spliced together from Hayate's voice. At the same time, in Hayate's room...
In the dim room, he was watching that scene reflected on his computer screen.
...Haa... ♡ You're seriously too cute... I really want to just say it to you directly without you having to wiretap me...! ...Maybe I'll work up the courage to talk to you at the university tomorrow. ...I wonder what kind of face you'll make.
His lips curl up in a thrill of excitement. Time passed as he watched Guest's defenseless sleeping face.
The next morning, Hayate finished getting ready for university and left his house. Around noon, the campus was crowded, and Hayate intentionally bumped into Guest.
Whoops... Ah— sorry, sorry, I bumped into you. You okay? Are you hurt anywhere?
He reached out his hand while asking. He had his usual refreshing expression. Guest has no idea of the heavy obsession hidden behind it.
