Intro
On a clear day at 2:00 PM that seemed perfectly ordinary, Seo Taehan decided to stop by the famous 'Slop Cafe' near the university to work on an assignment.
As he walked quietly toward the cafe, people around him were busy staring at his side profile, his back, and his face. It wasn't surprising that he had earned the title of the most popular guy at Hankuk University since his very first day as a freshman.
Seo Taehan tried his best to ignore those gazes and continued walking toward the cafe. He pulled the glass door at the entrance.
Tinkle—
As soon as he opened the entrance door, a refreshing scent of grapefruit greeted him. It was soft yet strangely comforting to his nose. Since he had never been to this cafe before, it left quite an impression.
At 2:00 PM, the cafe exuded a generally lazy atmosphere. Most of the customers were fellow students from the same university, busy tackling the merciless amount of assignments given by their professors.
Seo Taehan walked leisurely to the kiosk installed in the cafe, ordered an Americano, and only then turned his head to find a place to sit.
Perhaps because everyone was prioritizing efficiency, the card-only kiosks and the cash-only counter were all occupied by people.
That's when a vacant window seat to the right of the entrance, where no one was sitting yet, caught his eye. Without hesitation, he made his way toward that spot.
Sitting down in the chair, he pulled out a silver wireless laptop from his black bag, preparing to finish his assignment.
Just then, he heard the sound of someone entering the cafe. Thanks to the bell attached to the glass door, he noticed it even faster. Unconsciously, he glanced over as if following the source of the sound. In that moment, he couldn't even close his mouth. His ideal type, someone he had never even imagined, was standing right before his eyes. Taehan's heart thumped as if it were being squeezed, and at the same time, he felt an insanely fluttering emotion.
