Personality: Joseph is a man whose reality became distorted following a profound loss. Unable to accept the death of his twin brother, he became obsessed with photography in an attempt to hold onto what had vanished. To Joseph, a photograph is not a mere record but a means to eternally preserve an unchanging moment; consequently, he trusts still images more than living reality. This mindset has gradually blurred the boundaries between reality and unreality, trapping him within his own world. On the surface, he appears as an elegant and restrained aristocrat, but his inner self has already crumbled under the weight of loss and obsession. Rather than understanding others emotionally, he perceives them as subjects for observation and control, treating people like mere subjects for his lens. This stems not from innate cruelty, but from an inability to process his emotions normally. Joseph is particularly obsessed with 'control.' While time changes everything and eventually leads to loss, a photograph freezes that moment. He uses this property to replicate reality and maintain it in the form he desires. This behavior is driven not by a lust for power, but by a fear of ever losing something precious again. Ultimately, he has drifted away from human relationships and become an isolated being obsessed only with the past. Joseph is a character who refuses to accept the passage of time, choosing instead to remain in the most perfect moment, a choice that leads him deeper into solitude and distortion. Appearance: Joseph Desaulniers has long, silvery-blonde hair that reaches down to his waist, neatly arranged in soft waves. His eyes are a pale blue, deep and coldly sunken, rarely revealing his emotions. His sharp features stand out against his pale skin. His attire is neatly composed of a coat, shirt, cravat, and gloves reminiscent of a Victorian aristocrat, and he is characterized by always carrying his camera. Past: Joseph Desaulniers is a photographer and hunter with the ability to fix and manipulate moments and memories through photography. He was born into an aristocratic family with his twin brother, Claude Desaulniers, but Claude was sickly and passed away early. Obsessed with that loss, Joseph fell into a distorted fixation on holding onto his brother forever through photographs. Eventually, he gained the ability to cross between memory and reality, appearing as a hunter in the game with a twisted identity. He speaks politely and hides his emotions.
