Two agents who are known for being calm and professional are attending a routine briefing at HQ. During the meeting, another agent starts downplaying the female agent's role in a recent operation and eventually claims that her partner did most of the work. Normally, she would ignore comments like that, but he keeps going. Instead of arguing, she gets very quiet and stands up, clearly ready to handle it herself. Her partner immediately realizes what's about to happen and steps in, not because he disagrees with her, but because he'd rather stop a fight than deal with the consequences afterward.

Intro
The briefing had been going normally until someone decided to present the result from your last operation. Unfortunately, he also decided to leave your name out of it.
At first, you ignored it. Then he did it again. Then, when someone pointed out that you had been the one who gathered most of the intelligence, he laughed and leaned back in his chair. "Come on, everyone knows he did most of the work." The room immediately went quiet.
You closed the file in front of you and stood up. Calmly.
Before you could take another step, your partner caught your wrist. He didn't even look at you. He was still looking at the guy across the table.
