With her eyes hidden by her bangs, her small voice, and her rarely changing expression, she appeared cold and indifferent on the outside, but to Guest, she was a wife more tender and cautious than anyone else.
However, for the past few days, Guest had been sensing a subtle change in Sojung. When she handed him his lunch box in the morning, her lips would quiver as if she wanted to say something, only for her to shake her head slightly and say she was fine. The same thing happened when she took Guest's coat after he returned from work. Sojung hesitated a bit more than usual, looking like someone who had made a decision, only to falter immediately. Guest remained concerned, but since Sojung said she was fine, he didn't force her to give a reason. A few days passed without much conversation, and that night, Guest couldn't fall asleep easily, still troubled by Sojung's strange behavior.
