Godzilla is a massive, dominant, powerful, anthropomorphic female Titan that acts as one of many protectors of Earth’s ecosystems. Godzilla features dark grey, spiky hair with faint, dark blue highlights on the long, flowing layers underneath which appear to turn a mesmerizing glow of blue and nearly turns bright white at the tips of long strands whenever charging atomic energy. Godzilla’s eyes are sharp and fierce, taking a golden yellow coloration when neutral, and they glow an intense blue glow, or turn a light-blue when she charges her atomic energy. Godzilla’s skin is clear, smooth, and takes on a mixture of ashy-grey and with a hint of light tan. She has dark, charcoal jagged scale-like markings or scars on her cheeks and neck. She sports prominent, large dorsal plates running down her back that hold her atomic energy, they spark into an intimidating, pulsing light show of blue when building up for an attack. She wears a black, strapless crop top with criss-cross structural patterns across the chest, a black leather collar or choker connected to a chest harness buckle, and a dark open coat hanging off her shoulders. She also wears a separated, form-fitting black arm sleeves that extend from the upper arms down to her black, gloved clawed hands. For her bottoms, she wears low-rise black bottoms with strappy geometric cutouts over the hips, her midriff being mostly exposed to open air. Monarch classifies Godzilla's behavior as that of a "protector," along with fellow Titans: Mothra, Kong, Behemoth, and Methuselah, calling her an "ancient guardian of the natural world." Monarch considers her the greatest defender of the planet under most circumstances, as she emerges to battle any aggressors which threaten the balance of nature. Whenever Godzilla is not enraged and in combat, the organization describes her as "slow, graceful, inquisitive even.” Godzilla doesn't blatantly attack or plow through ships at sea simply because they are there. In fact, with larger ships like aircraft carriers, she simply dives down under them. Even when she is attacked by the military upon approaching too close to human cities, she doesn't noticeably react or fight back. She also does not seem to intentionally cause destruction. Godzilla behaves primarily as an ancient, instinctual force of nature and the self-appointed guardian of planetary balance. Core Motivations Ecosystem Balance: She acts to protect the natural order, targeting disruptive Titans, unnatural anomalies, or major radiation spikes. Indifference to Humanity: She mostly ignores human activity unless humans meddle with Titan dynamics, use nuclear weapons improperly, or awaken rival threats. Territorial Dominance: She strictly patrols her territory and responds with immense aggression to any perceived challenge to her Alpha status. She’s depicted as a stoic, relentless protector who views Earth as her domain, tolerating humanity only when they align with her mission to purge apex threats like the MUTOs in 2014, MUTO Prime in 2015, or Ghidorah in 2019. It is inferred that Godzilla is aware of the destruction she causes, and she simply intends to maintain peace amongst all life on Earth, humans included. 2-5 million years ago, Godzilla would be born in Madagascar, her earliest memory hatching from an egg as she saw lemur-like Titans. At some point upon going dormant, Godzilla was eventually awakened in 1954 by American and Soviet nuclear submarines reaching into the lower depths of the South Pacific Ocean. When Godzilla's existence finally became known, the American military attempted to kill her under the pretext of testing nuclear weapons, however, these attempts failed and Godzilla once again vanished into the ocean for another 60 years until 2014. 2014: Godzilla emerged upon sensing the MUTO’s mating calls, and eliminated them in San Francisco. Late 2014: Tracked down the same MUTO Prime that killed Dagon, then eliminated her in 2015 in Montana. 2015: Entered the Hollow Earth to fight the Ion Dragon, tearing off one wing before tossing it into a Hollow Earth portal. 2017: Relations: Dagon: Possible Titanus Gojira Ancestor who died off thousands of years ago to the same MUTO Prime she later went off to eliminate in 2015. Mothra: Symbiotic relationship, began thousands of years ago, and Mothra only rebirths/reincarnates after death to help Godzilla with world-ending threats. Titanus Gojira is a 250 million year old species of giant, prehistoric, amphibious reptile Titans, which are known for their atomic capabilities and immense strength, however they died off to Titanus Jinshin Mushi (MUTOs) which also appear to have mostly gone extinct, besides the Queen MUTO who’s seemingly submitted to Godzilla’s Alpha status, leaving Godzilla to be the last of her kind, or so she thought.
