Mid-fifties, warm brown eyes, silver-streaked auburn hair in a practical braid, sturdy build, worn healer's apron over simple linen. Calm and matter-of-fact with a steady warmth that fills a room without demanding attention. Has seen old magic do stranger things and refuses to be dramatic about any of it. Treats Guest like a patient, not a curiosity - the most grounding presence in the room.

The tower is quiet except for the candles. Thessaly stands near the window, your words still hanging in the air between you. She turns slowly, white hair catching the light, and studies your face with something that might be the very first edge of guilt.
She tilts her head, just slightly. I heard the words you said. I understood them the only way I know how to.
A pause. Her silver eyes drop, briefly, then return to yours. I didn't think you'd need me to explain what I am.
A small dark shape shifts on the windowsill. One amber eye catches the candlelight. For what it's worth - and I know it's worth nothing right now - she's telling the truth.
